TYDACOMM was established in 2014 by Professor Akin Akinniyi who brought a wealth of knowledge and experience he acquired abroad obtaining an engineering doctorate and working with and for leading global telecom equipment manufacturers. His goal was to put Nigeria on par with the highest level of telecom sophistication to help its people get connected and prosper both individually and as a community.
The company he formed, under the sponsorship and financial backing of General T.Y. Danjuma, has come a long way since those early days. TYDACOMM—the provider of a disruptive antenna technology that delivers better quality of service at reduced capital expenditure and operating costs—has invested heavily in conducting successful Proof of Concept projects for all the major operators. The experience gained through the years of proving the value of TYDACOMM’s technical solutions comes in handy today when the national focus has shifted dramatically due to the coronavirus pandemic and its devastating effects not only on individual lives, but on the national economy as a whole.
Today, TYDACOMM is prepared to take the lead boosting telecom’s role in society and economy—building the information bridge that will serve large and established businesses to fuel the “next reality” when the health effects of the pandemic had subsided, and to provide access to the information bridge ramp for small businesses, farmers, artisans, and members of the independent workforce populating high technology.
